    WARNINGS: SYNOPTIC SITUATION: High pressure centred across southeastern England declines and drifts slowly east, weak frontal boundary slowly pushes into towards NW Scotland and western Ireland. WIND: In the N: SW light or moderate In the S: light and variable. WEATHER: Remaining dry and mostly cloudy across the whole of the British Isles throughout the night, with mist patches forming across much of central and eastern England. In the west mist and fog becoming widespread with the cloud thickening to give outbreaks of mainly light patchy drizzle especially near exposed coasts and over the higher ground. Across the Hebrides, NW Scotland and western Ireland cloud thickening and lowering from the west to give outbreaks of rain in places. TEMPERATURE: A mild humid night for all.     WARNINGS: Heavy Precipitation (S). Thunderstorms. (S). SYNOPTIC SITUATION: A ridge of high pressure across the UK is expected to slowly decline to the E during the day as a frontal trough begins to affect the far W. WIND: Variable light locally moderate with sea breezes, mainly S'ly. WEATHER: Mostly cloudy across the far W and NW with the risk of patchy light rain or drizzle at times. Dry with bright or sunny periods elsewhere after early mist patches clear, however there is a risk of some isolated heavy, thundery showers developing across the S later in the day. TEMPERATURE: Above the seasonal average and feeling increasingly humid. CONFIDENCE OF FORECAST: High.

(S & E) SYNOPTIC SITUATION: High pressure continues to decline to the E as a trough of low pressure across the W develops a shallow low centre over S England. WIND: Light and variable. WEATHER: Mostly cloudy or overcast across C and E areas with a risk of some heavy, thundery showers for a time, after some initial brighter conditions. Outbreaks of moderate, locally heavy rain or showers further W but tending to become drier and brighter later. TEMPERATURE: Well above average and feeling humid, especially across the S & E, turning much fresher from the W later. CONFIDENCE OF FORECAST: Medium to high.

SYNOPTIC SITUATION: An area of low pressure across the E and N clears away to the E during the day, with a new developing low expected to the W of Scotland later. WIND: Variable light or moderate, mainly SE'ly in the N & E, becoming mainly SW'ly fresh in the S. WEATHER: Mostly cloudy across the E & N with heavy showers or spells of rain. Further W and S sunny spells and scattered moderate, locally heavy showers. TEMPERATURE: Near or slightly below average and feeling much cooler than recently. CONFIDENCE OF FORECAST: Medium to high.

SYNOPTIC SITUATION: A complex area of low pressure is expected to the W and NW of the UK during the day bringing unsettled conditions to many areas. WIND: SW'ly moderate or fresh locally strong in the S at times and veering NW'ly later in the NW. WEATHER: Mostly cloudy with moderate, locally heavy showers in most areas or longer spells of rain in the N, but with sunny spells developing at times in the S and the E.
